On Monday 14th December the Town Hall unveiled a festive surprise - a Christmas themed projection featuring magical scenes including snowy rooftops, a sparkling Christmas tree and a glimpse of the main man himself - Santa and his reindeer.
Government regulations allowed us to open from 4th July but we are taking our time to get our preparations right and ensuring that our staff, tenants, volunteers and all users of the building can feel safe in using the Town Hall once again. So we are adopting a slow and steady approach.
The Town Hall, as I'm sure you know, is a complex site which supports multiple functions. This adds complexity to risk assessments, the guidance we have to understand and follow and the measures we need to put in place to ensure everyone is safe. On this basis our re-opening will take place initially on a reduced hours basis:
We’ll announce plans for 8th August onwards asap
On these days and between these hours we can also now take room bookings: we are however limiting our room bookings to a maximum of 6ppl at any one time. More information about room bookings is available on our website here:
http://hebdenbridgetownhall.org.uk/our-rooms
We also think that one of our strengths in the new COVID-19 world is our business lounge (which has always been aimed at those who are struggling to work from home). More information about our business packages is here:
http://hebdenbridgetownhall.org.uk/business-packages
We are allocating more space to our Business Associates offer so we can help more people.
You can also ring us on 01422 417300 for more information on either.
