On Monday 14th December the Town Hall unveiled a festive surprise - a Christmas themed projection featuring magical scenes including snowy rooftops, a sparkling Christmas tree and a glimpse of the main man himself - Santa and his reindeer.
Setting up the jumble sale in the Waterfront Hall.
Immediately after the floods Sarah Smith, a local resident, approached us about using The Town Hall to hold a massive jumble sale to raise money for the flood relief charities. How could we say no?
Let's get ready to jumble.
Fill a carrier for £1. A must for bargain hunters.
A stash of cookery books for a food lover.
Sarah wanted to wait until after the school holidays, so yesterday was the day that The Town Hall, Hebden Bridge hosted its first jumble sale and it's gone down a storm.
The children's table.
Most items went in the first half an hour.
The jumble sale was so popular, all the items were gone by 2pm. Congratulations to Sarah for raising £450 in 2 hours for local post flood charities.
Sarah and her daughter Alice.
